Wolds Words is over for another year and has been a great success with over 2,700 attendees.
We have already begun planning the 2009 festival and we shall be keeping you regularly updated with any new events or activities.

This year, the Lincolnshire Wolds will come alive with over 45 activities between Monday 13 and Friday 31 October when the 2008 Wolds Words Festival of Reading, Writing and Performance brings performances, workshops, walks, talks and much, much more to venues across East Lindsey including Louth, Skegness, Burgh le Marsh, Spilsby, Coningsby, Tattershall, Woodhall Spa and Alford.
The festival will once again attract some big names, such as; well-known film and TV actor, Robert Powell, most famous for his title role in Jesus of Nazareth and more recently as Nurse Mark Williams, in BBC One's Holby City; architectural historian and presenter of BBC TV's Around the World in Eighty Treasures, Dan Cruickshank…remember The House Detectives and Britain's Best Buildings and bestselling authors, Rosie Thomas (novels include: White, The Potter's House, If My Father Loved Me and Sun at Midnight) and JoJo Moyes (novels include: Silver Bay, Foreign Fruit, The Ship of Brides, The Peacock Emporium and Sheltering Rain).
Other inspiring events and activities include Toby Hadoke's nationally acclaimed one-man show Moths Ate My Dr Who Scarf about his love of all things Doctor Who; Orange Prize nominated-novelist, Joolz Denby, performing her work accompanied by singer-songwriter Mik Davis of young band New York Alcoholic Anxiety Attack and Lincoln-based Grahame Lloyd who will perform his one-man show Football Fanatical celebrating the beautiful game in poetry and music.
